Photographing Water

Station 1
1. It was easy to get a good shot at the right f-stop because if you continuously took photos you were bound to get at least one good shot.
2. I didn't like the reflection of the water when the flash was on.

Station 2
1. It was not easy to get a good shot because it was hard to differentiate from the water in the beaker and the water droplets.
2. I liked that the flash brightened up our shots more because the area was fairly dark naturally.

Station 3
1. It was easy to get a good shot because the burst mode on the iPhone was able to take several shots to capture the water's movement.
2. I liked that the burst mode was able to continuously take pictures.

Station 4
1. It was not easy to get a good a good shot because of the lighting and it was hard to see the water and have a focused shot.
2. Our team changed the paper in the background to try and lighten up the frame.

1. My image looks real because it seems as if the train was passing by when the picture was taken.

Green Screen Project

Original Green Screen Shot

My Composition

Questions
1. It was difficult to get the lighting of the picture I took to match the picture I found on the internet. This is because you it's hard to figure out what position that lights should be in in order to attain lighting that matches that of the shot already taken.
2. I like the creativity of my composition.
3. I could improve the clarity of my composition.

Surreal Photography

My Landscape Image

Image I Found Online

My Final Combined Image

Questions
1. I used the crop, quick selection, and brush tools the most. The brush tool was probably the one I used most frequently.
2. The best part of my composition is the blending between the my two images.
3. It was not very difficult to combine two images because I was able to just use the tools we frequently work with in photoshop.
4. I could have used perspective better to deal with the size of Harry Potter compared to the surroundings of my landscape.

Surreal Landscape: "City in a Bottle"

1. During this exercise, I learned how to warp an image, blend multiple images together, and add shadows for depth.
2. My final file had 29 layers.
3. I liked this assignment because it challenged me and it turned out to be very cool. I did not like this assignment, however, because it challenged me.
